Electrolytes

I always have a packet of electrolytes before drinking and then one more the morning after. Before leaving your bed in the A.M., open an electrolyte packet and get to drinking. Electrolytes help water pass through the cells and body faster, which leaves you hydrated faster. The best ones I’ve tried are from LMNT as I showed above!

Milk Thistle

Milk thistle helps protect the liver from toxins, and when we consume alcohol, our liver is directly damaged. Now, taking milk thistle before drinking isn’t going to magically cure your hangover, but it will give your liver the extra love it needs. I take 1-2 capsules before my first drink. H2O

I know this isn’t what you’re wanting to hear, but having one glass of water per alcoholic drink you have is the best method to beating a hangover. Our bodies become so dehydrated with alcohol, so the more water you remember to have, the better. Now, sometimes we don’t have time to be grabbing a glass of water after every vodka soda, so my word of advice is to just remember to have as much water as you can!
